The Lego logo has been around since 1949 and is the logo for the biggest toy brick company today. The logo used to be very old and bland. Over the years it has changed drastically with the popularity it gained.

The newer logo was made to be more playful and appealing to there costumers, children. The only thing that the original design relates to the new one is the way its spelt, they basically did a rebrand, almost. It also differs because its colorful now. It basically had a total make over and is a completely different design and now is completely new. The logo shows excitement because of the reactions of children when they play with them. Lego is a Danish company which in English means play well. The logo was redesigned in 1948, 1954, and 1957 with adjustments in 1999 with a larger type face. There font was also custom made so they didn’t have legal issues.
